O Brazil Game Awards 2020 anunciou seus vencedores, seguindo o que vem sendo visto nas premiações do mundo inteiro e consagrando The Last of Us II como o grande jogo do ano.
O título da Naughty Dog, além de ser eleito o melhor lançamento de 2020, ainda garantiu os prêmios nas categorias Melhor Jogo de Ação e Aventura, Melhor Trilha Sonora e Melhor Dublagem em Português. Já Out of Space, jogo de estratégia desenvolvido pela Behold Studios, foi eleito o melhor jogo brasileiro do ano.
Apesar de seguir os mesmos passos traçados pelo The Game Awards ao consagrar The Last of Us Part II, o BGA também apresentou suas próprias surpresas. Na premiação brasileira, o título sensação Among Us não levou nenhuma conquista para casa, limitando-se apenas a um concorrente enquanto viu Fall Guys ser eleito o melhor multiplayer de 2020 e Genshin Impact conquistar o título de melhor jogo mobile do ano.
